I don't profess to know everything about computers, in fact I know rather little.

And, yes, I did touch water cooling. I've got a Zalman Reserator XT on my desktop to keep it cool and quiet.



Dont be too sure about keeping it cool. Google keeps its datacenters at 80F. Its datacenter operators work in shorts. Only networking components are kept in a curtained cooled area.

I imagine having all components kept to the same temperature would be ideal, though I would consider 80 to be more toward the 'warm' end of things, but not hot by any means.

They might have it set that high for financial costs, too. Who knows, I don't work there, I'm guessing at this point.
