OK, I know there's some smart Wooters and Woot staff. Maybe you guys can help me out because I really want to keep this soundbar. When it works, it sounds awesome, but the whole killing my wifi signal is frustrating the hell out of me.
So I called BA customer service to try and find out what I could do about that. All the customer service rep could tell me is the soundbar transmits on the 2.4GHz spectrum and in order to get it to "play nice" with my wifi, I needed to "contact the router manufacturer and get them to change signal the router transmits on."
Unfortunately, as (most) everyone knows, all routers transmit on the 2.4GHz spectrum short of the new 5GHz routers.
And BA couldn't tell me the exact frequency the router transmits on between it's 4 channels so I could set my router accordingly.
I've got a Linksys E2000 with DD-WRT on it.
I'm currently transmitting on G/N bands. I tried channel 11 (2.462GHz) first with no luck and I'm currently on channel 9 (2.452GHz). Neither of those have worked. As soon as the soundbar transmits, all wireless devices disconnect from the router - which is about 25-30ft away on another level of the house.
So any tech-savvy or IT certified folks in here want to help me out?
