Well, how do you fare compared to the Zeitgeist? Chat up your fellow wooters and let us know how lame this poll was or what obvious choices we missed. For example: Was this poll a) STUPID, b) DUMB, c) POINTLESS or d) ALL OF THE ABOVE?

2 years ago: Sprint Samsung Transform... first "Smart" phone- worst mistake ever.

Doesn't have the processing power to make a phone call or send a text, let alone run an app. I miss my Nokia 5110, at least it made/received calls- in 1997.

When you do things right, people won't know you've done anything at all.

Picked up an iPhone 4 on sale in May 2011, switching to iPhone 5 in May 2013. :-)

I voted for the Nokia, but in reality I am still using a Motorola V540, the company I work for has a fairly strict no camera policy so old phones rule here even if it is only for the work day.

I thought it was an interesting poll. I'm one that will use (or should I say tolerate) my phone until it's shooting crap and... I have a suspicion though that phone manufacturers are designed to be hated after a while.

Nice to see I'm not alone as a cheap person who refuses to budge on the issue of not getting a new phone until the contract is up.

With that being said, I'll lose my iPhone "V-card" in April when my contract runs out. (my carrier just got them last fall AFTER I renewed my 2 year contract!)

I change phones when I have to admit to my husband I haven't been able to find it for several months. It took me almost a year to find it once. I found it when I traded my car off. LOL I like my land line. I know where it is (most of the time).

Nokia N8 is the best phone EVER!

I am a dedicated Nokia fan, and plan on getting a Lumia 920 when they are available.

In yellow, it will be a improvement on my current orange phone. Cases/covers are for losers.

I change phones once mine has craped out. However it craps out after 1.5 to 2 years. These new smart phones just don’t last and I hate it because they are expensive as hell

Upgrade/replace our phones as needed but not through the carrier... Our 2 year contract was eligible for renewal last year, but no need to downgrade to a new share everything plan that will offer us far less for a lot more $. We already have unlimited data, messaging and plenty of talk time providing I remember to save the right F&F numbers.

I had my last phone for problaby about 3 years. While I was entitled to an upgrade, I never saw anything I wanted. Honestly, I still haven't. All I want is a flip phone with a full keyboard, but my carrier doesn't sell any.

After my boyfriend lost another phone (which was still on contract), I broke down and got myself a new phone and gave him my old one. Not a flip phone, but at least it has a full keyboard. And it's not a smart phone either. I have absolutely no need for one of those.

LG makes some flip phones with full keyboards - I've had one for the last 3 years in the cutest color purple that you could imagine. Flip phones are the greatest - makes me feel like I'm on Star Trek every time I end a call.
Oh, and we still have a land line too.

I only have a landline also. And while I still don't see the "need" for a cell phone, I understand the appeal. However, before the advent of the "smart phone", I never understood why anyone would want a phone with them at all times. That sounds more like a punishment than a benefit.

When I can get a discount AND there is something worth upgrading to. For example, I got the iPhone 4 when it came out, but I passed on the 4S and I will 99% sure, get the iPhone 5

How about the Lumia 710? Does anyone have it and how do you feel it?
