I would be surprised if CA isn't the highest selling state. I know sooo many people who've been ticketed for violating the hands free cell phone law and it's about $150-$200 for the first time offense.

I bought these a couple months ago when they were on Woot.

I hate them.

I bought them to use while running. Every time I went for a run I considered throwing them off one of the bridges I run over and into the river. I didn't end up taking them on most of the runs I go on because the battery was dead unless I JUST unplugged them from the charger.

The sound quality is pretty bad but I can't give an honest opinion on that because they never fit right and are popping in and out of my ears so much all I hear is a popping sound.

I haven't actually used them for about the last month. I probably never will again. I really miss my old Motorola pair that covered my ears entirely and had no claims of being water resistant. They managed to hold up for a couple years even with being soaked in sweat a few times a week. If you do buy these I hope they work better for you than they did for me.

Don't do it I bought two last woot they are tight hurt your head after about 4 min of wearing

if you're having problems with these and happen to see the older version s9 on woot, those actually work well.. have had 2 sets for about 5 years now and love them... the S9 set that is.

Please, please, please believe what people are telling you here...I didn't. Mediocre sound quality at best and if you are an adult male they are TIGHT! That's most likely too tight to stand for more than five minutes. Small woman or a child maybe not such a horrible deal.

bought these a few months ago As others have said they run tight and hurt my ears with any prolonged use. As for the audio quality mine are actually OK, nothing spectacular, but they don't have poor sound quality.

I bought six for me and my friends. We all like em. I have a big head and they fit fine. Once you figure out you need to hold down the button on the headset to sync them, they connect smooth. Sounds good too. Only con is the comfort of the ear buds. Could be a lil better. One of the first three shipped to me didnt work, but woot sent me another pair no problem! I give them a 8 out of 10.

Yeah, I agree with the others. I've actually bought a few refurb stuff on here and never had a problem. I owned the first edition of these and loved it so when I saw these on here I quickly snatched up 2 pairs but I've never gotten them to work. I shoulda sent them back but I'm lazy. They charged and powered on fine but I couldn't get them to connect. Waste of fifty bucks. My fault for not returning them. Oh well. Plus the limited amount of time I spent trying to get them to work they are a lot tighter then the old ones. Wish I could have my money and/or the original ones back.

Does the refurbishing process clean out the old ear wax?

New product has been $40 shipped on sale recently. You have to ask yourself how much savings is worth getting a used product that is marketed to be worn on the body while sweating profusely.

I find the S9 comfortable enough for a 30 minute workout, but they start to feel tight after that. I've also read user reviews claiming that the S10 (this model) is inferior in some ways.

Motorola has a new model out that they claim is uber-sweatproof (no, really this time!) but of course it's uber-$$$.

I bought these in hopes to free myself from the bondage that is corded earphones. Sadly I am still not free. I didn't experience any of the sound quality issues mentioned by other Wooters, but I certainly found them uncomfortable. According to the directions they're supposed to "float" behind the head. They don't. They rest basically on my neck and constantly are coming out of my ears. I never get good volume simply because most of they time the earbuds won't stay in my ears. I tried all of the different sized earbuds and none are small enough to do the job.

I recommend skipping these.

Regardless of my viewpoint, after all the other negative reviews, I'd be surprised if many of these sell here.
I would just like to offer a different perspective. I actually own a pair of Jaybird cordless headset ($99). I bought this Motorola set on Woot previously for my wife to use while cooking late at night and not wake our 3 year old. She complained that this set hurt her (relatively, in respect to mine anyway, small) head.
So I started wearing them around the house, and basically, despite my larger cranial capacity, found them to be very comfortable. The sound is very good also. I still use my Jaybird pair for running, but plan to try this pair on one of my upcoming runs. Also, I had no problem pairing them, and they worked perfectly right off the bat.
If you're looking for a good wireless headset without breaking the bank, these are surely worth a try.

I bought these a few months ago. They lasted less than a week until they quit working. I let them charge for hours, but when I unplug them they will not power on anymore. I would steer clear of these.

Too tight for my adult, male head.
I find the battery and sound quality are fine, but i hardly use them because i find them painful by the end of my workout, regardless of which earpiece i choose. I also find the earpieces fall off too easily (a few were lost because of this) and the least uncomfortable earpiece i could find tends to collect sweat.

Overall, unsatisfactory.

Not sure if I want someone's ear cheese. Anything that goes into the human body to any degree, I'll buy new, thanks.

These headsets have a fatal flaw. Something is wrong with the battery logic.They "forget" the battery is charged and after that they won't turn on unless coming directly off the charger.
Has nothing to do with sweat the circuit board is waterproofed. Im on my fifth pair This set I'm going to try to only charge it from my pc and see if that makes a difference. But the fact that I'm on my fifth set should tell you something. It's a good headset with a fatal flaw

this is truly a great device, I love the idea, the quality, and the freedom it gives me. However, if you have a big cranium like myself, these can be incredibly uncomfortable! To the point of being painful honestly. Also, the smallest ear-bud available for it is not very small at all. If you are using this for workout or running and you get sweaty, they will no longer stay up where they are most comfortable. With all of that complaining, I still highly recommend this device for anyone that has a head smaller than L-XL or 7 3/4 hat size.

Contrary to what most people have posted, my experiences were fine with these. I have a large head and they fit very tight at first, but if you stretch them by hand they will fit better. I've had no problems with battery or connectivity, one full charge tends to last me 2-3 hours.

The sound quality is slightly better than stock iPhone headphones, which isn't impressive, but for a wireless pair I wear to the gym, they do the job. For $25 I'd definitely buy this again. The only thing I'd keep in mind is, don't forget your phone in the gym while wearing these! Thank God for the Find my iPhone app or my phone would be long gone.

Bought these for the same reason; could have survived all those short comings if not for the fact the power button broke after a week. Judging from the reviews on Amazon, I guess that's a common problem with these.

These are vastly inferior to the s9 headsets in all ways worth mentioning. That said, they're still not terrible for the price on woot. Don't bother using them for active wear, anything more than walking around the house--they'll come out of your ears. They'll also disappoint if you're expecting the amazing sound quality of the s9 headsets. They don't have it. Not even close. Making handsfree phone calls in comfort though, or listening to audiobooks, you bet.

Driving with headphones is also illegal in CA. Use a proper handsfree speaker phone if you're going to use a phone in your car.

I bought these last time and initially I was upset with the fit. The first time I wore them they were too tight and hurt after a few minutes of use. So, I switched to another ear pod size. It still hurt. So, I switched again. Everything was better. I have been wearing these to go running and just sitting around the office for 1-3 hours with little to no discomfort. I am a male with a large cranium.

I bought a pair of these a few months back, and I would recommend against. The sound quality is terrible. The rigid construction makes them uncomfortable, difficult to fit properly into the ear, and you can't "drop" one side down if you need an ear free. Spend a few extra bucks and look into a set of Plantronics.

These never fit my head well. I bought a similar pair that lasted for about five months and never pinched my head...these things may fit a teen's head, but my big ol head gets squeezed.

Suggestion: Pay more at the store, try the pair on Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum!

I bought these previously from woot. I enjoy them and have no complaints, but they do take a bit to get the right fit. My head is VERY large, even for a big guy, and these pinched a little for the first few hours of use. Once I wore them in a bit and found which set of silicone ear buds worked best for me (they come with several), they became quite comfy. I wear them for hours at a time doing housework.

Ditto. Returned them. The ear buds were to big for my ears. Left speaker started popping. Then wouldn't turn on anymore. Takes about a month to get refund. It's a crap shoot.

I bought these headphones a couple of months ago and I am very happy. The buttons are a little awkward but for the most part great product. The sound is clear and the battery life is good. These headphones get 8/10 stars in my IMO.

YMMV, I suppose. I bought these last time they were up on Woot and so far no complaints. The audio quality is decent enough for exercising, and I've synced them to two phones so far without an issue. (If they won't sync, do a reset by holding + and the power button for a couple seconds) You definitely have to try the different size earbuds that come with it to find the size that works for your ears. And as for tightness, I have a 7 7/8 size head, and these are fine, even after an hour of running. For $25, and for not having a headphone wire flopping around while running, these were a good buy.

Now ask me again in a month. =)

I bought two pair 5 months ago. Both have been used 2-5 times a week without any negative issues. We make 2 hour bike rides every weekend and I sweat a lot. No problem. I also wear them in the gym for 2 hour workouts. I'm 6' 2' 200 pounds. I wear them over my ears while I am at the gym and turn them upside down while riding bike to accommodate my helmet. They work either way. We got our money's worth out of these so I think they are a good buy.

Bought these two weeks ago from woot! I have a small head and these are very tight still. You have to fiddle around with the different size ear inserts to find ones that will fit your ear type the best. Still can't wear them for more than an hour and a half at a time. Connectivity is good, I can walk around my wood shop and never lose connection when my iPod is on the charger. They sync fine, just hold down the button til it flashes red/blue and you're set to go. I'd rate them 7/10 for quality, and a 3/10 for comfort. Great price though, can't complain there.
