These are pretty good in for 3...
I bought the 4 position deal before, charger is great, doesn't cook the batteries. Haven't had any issues with using these.
Think most that are down on these chargers and batteries, didn't bother to read the instructions. When the batteries are done charging, you need to remove them from the charger, not simply un plug it. You don't want to completely drain them, you know, wait until your device no longer functions, before charging.
The batteries that come with the charger haven't leaked or failed, yet. I've recharged a lot of regular alkaline batteries as well, but after 4-5 times, they start to fail, some will leak (Duracell). Thin the IGO batteries are better sealed, and slightly different chemestry. Still, huge savings on batteries.
These work fine in everything, and last longer than most NiMH I use.
I got three this time, because the charger works off a walwart, so thinking solar panel.
