I bought this to capture quick video of my children. I take it everywhere you never know when they are going to do their "firsts". I love it, I have no problems, picture quality is fine. If you are looking for professional quality video for events then remember you get what you pay for. By no means am I saying this is bad playback. Just saying there is a difference between trying to shoot a film with this and take a quick home movie of your child walking.
People are ALWAYS looking for what I call the "MFD" ("Magic Fairy Dust") camera that is very cheap, requires no talent to use, no effort to learn and ALWAYS produces the kinds of videos they see online or cable done by pros.
Maybe in a few years, but it will take a lot of AI to replace talent and planning.
