These are great in ear buds for the price, highly reviewed at Amazon and elsewhere, and Kipsch's return policy and customer service is top notch.

I wonder how these compare to Bose and LG and some of the other high end. Comfort?

I have the S2i's and love them.. Wonder if this is a worthwhile upgrade or if the S4's are better and worth the extra money. Anyone care to chime in?

I bought these when they were last on sale and am using them now! I don't know that much about earbuds but these are definitely a step above what you can usually get for $20. They're surprisingly comfortable too.

I own two very similar pairs. Best sounding earbuds under $100 in my opinion. Klipsh doesn't disappoint.

We've owned S3's and S4's. I made a deal with my Nephew to get him some more expensive 'quality' earbuds if he promised to make an effort not to loose them... The best bang for the buck that I could find after researching the audiophile and review sites were the S4's. They are very good, better than other 'popular name / brand' earbuds that cost two to three times the price.

Eventually the S4's were lost, took a lot longer than usual, but I told him he'd have to get a cheaper pair next time so we settled on the S3's. He kept them so long that one of the ear buds stopped working. I emailed Klipsh support, they asked for my address and a couple of days later a replacement set arrived! He has been perfectly happy with the S3's ever since.

Here is a thread comparing the S3 and S4's. The S4's are almost unanimously favored as one of the best ear buds for under $150. They are the #1 selling earbud on Amazon. If you are responsible and plan to keep them for awhile then the S4 are the way to go. These S3's hit the sweet spot for a younger teen gift. A good product, won't hurt too bad when they are lost.

The S2's apparently have a bit less bass tha nthe S3's.

EDIT: Mixed up models in response to post, changed S2 to S3 as accurate to my experiences, but perhaps not as much help to the question asked! oops.

How comfortable are these? My large-headed husband apparently has small ears and has to be careful of ear bud sizing...

Already own a pair of these. They go on sale on Amazon every once in a while, various colors are priced differently. I bought the red ones for $23 I think. I have many different high quality in-ear monitors (Etymotic, Ultimate Ears...) and these are my favorites because not only do they sound great (you won't find better sounding in-ear monitors for less than $100) but they are extremely comfortable to wear. The $300 Ultimate Ears I have sound much better but I find them very uncomfortable. Whenever I travel, the Klipsch end up being my favorite headphones to carry around -- and at $20 you won't cry too much if you forget them behind on the plane.
Oh, and the little zippered carry case they come with is great!

One last thing: they're perfect airplane headphones (way, way better than those ridiculous and expensive Bose cans, and that's before you factor in the convenience) but you definitely don't want to wear them whenever you need to pay attention (riding a bike, for instance) because they isolate too well.

YES! Though I have ordered many of those Skullcandy earbuds, I consider Skullcandy the decent cheap throwaway buds and they are given as gifts, usually to kids that I know will break or loose them in no time.

They come with three different size of earbuds gel tips so most likely you will find one of them very comfortable.

If not you can also order replacement tip sets like these that come in various types and sizes like Small and Large

Yeah, I'm correcting that, I got mixed up with the wrong numbers. We do indeed have the S3's, I just checked the packaging. We paid $30.32 including tax and shipping from Amazon for the S3's. They also go on sale at Fry's occasionally for $24.99.

Most important to me is this... will they stay in my ears when I'm running? About all in ears fall out but they are the style i prefer. I am scared to try the kind that wrap over top of the ear cuz i wear glasses and sunglasses when I run.

I was a bit worried when I first got these because they weren't comfortable, but after a couple days I got used to them, without even having to switch the tips. Glad I gave them a chance because the sound quality is good.

I bought these the last time they were on Woot. Not so sure about exercise (as I'm allergic to it), but the sound is excellent. The ones I bought came with multiple ear-bud sizes, and are a great fit INTO the canal, which does make them fit tighter and block more noise out than other buds I've owned in the past. Worth the money for sure.

Unfortunately this is the one draw back of these buds. I love the sound and I use them when I lift weights but when I tried them for running, it was a pain to get them to stay in comfortably. While running I was unable to concentrate because the ear buds could fall off or out at any second.

for those looking towards similar price range IEMs, who want really punchy bass (not muffled, ridiculous bass), you might want to look into radius atomic bass 2

i own a pair of the original (before logitech takeover) UE superfi pro5s, and many other higher-end ($200+) IEMs that include shure, bose, etc...and the atomic bass is what i frequently take with me because like the reasons mentioned above...it's not a painful loss if i did lose them. they're actually very impressive for under $30.

I own the klipsch S4s, and have owned the S3s. Build quality on Klipsch buds are great, and sound is wonderful. The S3s don't have as high quality sound across the full range, but they are by far the BEST buds at or under $50. At $20 they are an insanely great value.

I recently got a pair of the new Apple Ear Pods with my iPhone 5 and while they sound ok, there's not much isolation. I bought these for a cheap, very comfortable alternative with more isolation, but they're a little bass heavy for my tastes:

JVC HA-FX35-B Soft Marshmallow Stereo Headphones

So, after reading the reviews on these, I'm in for a pair!

I like free. I paid almost $25 bucks for freakin headphones. Gotta tell you though, they ROCK. Seriously worth the price. Probably would not have noticed the chord noise if I hadn't read the review since I'm using these in a loud, busy gym.....even love them on my lawn tractor! (Hey, I'm almost 50 yrs old, we kinda love our lawns by that age)

Literally the worst head phones I have ever purchased. DO NOT BUY THESE. The only positive thing I can say about these is the bass. It was really deep. It was not worth the loss on the upper end. Even crappy cheap headphones have a response in the 20k range. Note that these stop at 18k. This is VERY noticeable.

I purchased two of these; One for my co-worker and one for me. We both like Klipsch products. I have a Klipsch 350 subwoffer and a pair of Reference II speakers that make up my audio system. I am not a Klipsch hater by any means. My co-worker agreed. I did not tell him about my problems with this product, but he managed to have the same problems.

Another poster asked about the Skullcandy headphones. These already broke on me. I have been faithful to the Skullcandy Ink series because they are cheap and sound great. Even when not on sale, they are less than this product on Woot. I am using them as I am typing this. Huge improvement.

This is my first post even though I have been purchasing from Woot for easily a year. I really do not like this product.

Do NOT buy these.

Best running earphones are made by yurbuds. I do triathlon training and these never fall off though the ound isnt the best and hey are a bit pricey. However, they do the job. The cord is also short so you dont have to worry about it.

Seems like it is a pass for me then. I have seen most of the great reviews on the S4's and being a jazz and horn guy myself I think the S4's would be more clear overall. I can find them for around 60 dollars and I really do not lose things ha ha, I have the understanding of a value of a dollar. Maybe woot will have some S4's soon?? :D

I bought these when they came up a couple of weeks ago. They are surprisingly good for the price, but the real Great Thing is the cord, which is the least tangly cord I have on earphones.

They're better than my Sony MDR-EX51s, not as good as my Ety E4Ps, but more comfortable than either (the earbits are like Sonys, but eliptical rather than round), and good for commuting, since the Ety difference doesn't show with bus noise, anyway.

For $20 I will give these a try. I am a medical transcriptionist and need the good quality sound. I favor Etymotic isolators and MC5s (which Amazon sometimes has for around $50). I wear them out or the cat chews the cord (dang cat and my bad for leaving them out). Hopefully, these will be comfortable as well.

JLabs are hardly in the same league as Klipsch. While the S3 is not quite as good as some of their more expensive models, it should be better than the J3.

I personally prefer the S3 models to the S4 i purchased. As for Jlab vs S3/S4, the Jlab models were more durable for gym and running work whereas the S3/S4 were good for casual walking due to better sound quality and noise blocking.
