Hefe's are quite good, but I would prefer a Belgian witbier. I love a good wheat beer, but the higher carbonation from the Belgian yeasts provide just a hint of extra pep to keep me focused. Plus the Belgian Wits tend to be just slightly lower in ABV, which helps during a 'session'. Maybe a Unibroue Blanche du Chambly or even a Hitochino Nest White

When it happens (which it always does), I put my head down on the bar and resits all temptations to shoot myself in the face. Groundhog's conversation. Over and over and over again.

I never had it, but the 90 minute is seriously good. It is not necessarily name dropping. And just because something becomes popular does not mean that you have to stop liking it.
