I could see this being a really good kids room TV, for 80 bucks they're appeased and you're not out a fortune when they eventually jam tinker toys into all of the A/V jacks.

No power supply? I can come up with the required 12 volt 4 amp supply but not everyone will want to hunt around.

Good catch, based in the power specs but it says it also includes a power cord - would that be a 12 volt DC automotive/lighter plug or a cord with a wall wort or mid-stream wort to plug into a 120 volt wall recepticle?

If it is the former this unit might work OK for an RV or camping off your own solar power.

The implied contents pics don't show either type of cord.

Whatever you do, always plug electronics into surge protectors if you want them to last.

I doubt this TV will last very long in your van, they seem to conk out just sitting in a home!
