Honey! Help me out here. Turn on this Energizer Weather Ready LED Flashlight and leave it on until it runs out of batteries. I've got to melt all the candles way down so they're basically unusable.

"Wait, hold on, what? Why? It's still light outside. And haven't you been watching the news: there's a huge thunderstorm coming. We might need the flashlight and the candles if the power goes out."

That's what I was thinking at first, too. But you know what? I'm tired of going on the defensive. Gathering the candles and the flashlights? Stocking up on food? That's just what the storm is expecting us to do.

"Yeah, well, those are the smart things to do when there's inclement weather on the way..."

Sure, if you want to get through the storm. But if you want to beat the storm? That's something entirely different. You gotta make the first move. Like what we're doing right now: the storm sees some people wasting the batteries on their weather resistant 17 lumen flashlight, and it's like, 'what're those guys planning?'

"And?"

And what?

"And what are you planning?"

That's the beauty of it: nothing. It's all a big bluff!

"Okay, well, putting all of that aside, how do you expect to kill this flashlight in time for the storm? It has a battery life of 65 hours."

Huh. And when does the storm get here?
