Eternal Sunshine

Right, so with this I forget all about the quirky ex-girlfriend who broke my heart?

"Oh, you wanted to FORGET the quirky ex-girlfriend?"

"Yeah."

"Oh. Are you sure? She's really cute, but in a quirky way. She wears funky scarves and hats and stuff."

"Yeah, and she dyes her hair neat colors. I know. That's one of the reasons it was so hard to deal with losing her. But I want it all gone."

"Well, we sorta did the opposite."

"What?"

"Yeah, we installed a Kingston 16GB 1600MHz DDR3 SDRAM Kit in your brain. You've got two 8GB DD3 1600MHz memory modules in your head now, and they both contain only memories of that adorable, pale-skinned girl who listens to indie music and wears vintage dresses."

"But- I- I don't want that."

"Well, they're a pain to remove. From brains, anyway. If you were a computer it wouldn't be too bad at all, but the neural interface really complicates things."

"Oh god. All I can see is her. All I can hear is her indie music. All I can smell is her natural organic perfume made from orange blossoms."

"To be fair, this would all be pretty awesome if she hadn't dumped you."

Features

HyperX blu is a bold step out of the ordinary and into the “serious reliability and awesome speeds” category. It’s ideal for the entry-level gamer or PC enthusiast who would rather not borrow money to get his or her system up to speed with the latest memory technology. Its streamlined clipless design and heatspreaders deliver seamless thermal performance for high-bandwidth games and high-speed applications. What’s more, it’s blue, so it looks really cool in your rig.

Kingston's KHX1600C10D3B1K2/16G is a kit of two 1G x 64-bit (8GB) DDR3-1600 CL10 SDRAM (Synchronous DRAM), 2Rx8 memory modules, based on sixteen 512M x 8-bit FBGA components per module. Total kit capacity is 16GB. Each module kit has been tested to run at DDR3-1600 at a low latency timing of 10-10-10 at 1.5V. The SPD's are programmed to JEDEC standard latency DDR3-1333 timing of 9-9-9 at 1.5V. Each 240-pin DIMM uses gold contact fingers. The JEDEC electrical and mechanical specifications are as follows:

  • JEDEC standard 1.5V (1.425V ~ 1.575V) Power Supply
  • VDDQ = 1.5V (1.425V ~ 1.575V)
  • 667MHz fCK for 1333Mb/sec/pin
  • 8 independent internal bank
  • Programmable CAS Latency: 9, 8, 7, 6
  • Programmable Additive Latency: 0, CL - 2, or CL - 1 clock
  • Programmable CAS Write Latency(CWL) = 7 (DDR3-1333) 8-bit pre-fetch
  • Burst Length: 8 (Interleave without any limit, sequential with starting address “000” only), 4 with tCCD = 4 which does not allow seamless read or write [either on the fly using A12 or MRS]
  • Bi-directional Differential Data Strobe
  • Internal(self) calibration : Internal self calibration through ZQ pin (RZQ : 240 ohm ± 1%)
  • On Die Termination using ODT pin
  • Average Refresh Period 7.8us at lower than TCASE 185°F, 3.9us at 185°F < TCASE < 203°F
  • Asynchronous Reset
  • PCB : Height 1.180” (30.00mm), double sided component

Warranty: Lifetime Kingston

What are Top Comments?

Top Comments are discussion forum posts we have deemed worthy of your time. Listen, we get a lot of comments, and most of the time, it's pretty forgettable stuff; but sometimes you rise to the top like butterfat in milk. We don't recommend you base your self-worth on how often we feature your comments, but we don't expressly forbid it either.
