Lethe Is More
I'm a super forgetful person by nature. I swear it's not thoughtlessness; I just tend to forget the little details, including plugging my phone in at night. Luckily, this uNu battery case effectively doubles my iPhone's battery life, so my memory lapses don't totally screw me. But that got me thinking: Why not invent solutions to ALL of the things I forget to do on a daily basis?
Here's my list of inventions so far:
-
A harness system that attaches all your personal belongings to your person via a system of fishing line.
I'm terrible at leaving my stuff behind at places - keys, sweatshirts, sunglasses, etc. This invention solves the problem by making sure everything you own is physically attached to you. It might be a little embarrassing to leave a restaurant dragging a trail of personal effects, but it's worth it.
-
A calendar app that reminds you to inhale, exhale.
Throughout a busy day, it can be easy to lose track of little things like respiration. This app emits a loud beeping sound every 2 seconds to remind you of your regularly-scheduled inhalations and exhalations. Just turn on your smartphone, swipe in, enter your password, open the app, and deactivate the alarm. It's so easy!
-
A hat for your spouse that says "Tell him/her you love him/her."
It can be super easy to just blank on how you feel about your life partner. Do you hate them? Do you feel ambivalent about them? This hat acts as a constant reminder of your true feelings, and your spouse can't even see it!
-
A string that you tie around your finger to remember to buy all these great memory-aiding inventions.
Pretty self explanatory.

Top Comments are discussion forum posts we have deemed worthy of your time. Listen, we get a lot of comments, and most of the time, it's pretty forgettable stuff; but sometimes you rise to the top like butterfat in milk. We don't recommend you base your self-worth on how often we feature your comments, but we don't expressly forbid it either.
