Just when we think we've heard all the iNames, Onkyo comes up with a new one: "iOnly."

We're no stranger to iStuff, or sound systems for iPods, iPhones, and iPads in general. Eventually they all kind of blur together into one big congealed ball of iGoo. But once in awhile a product comes along with such a crazy premise or weird name that we sit up and take notice, if only for the fact that it's the one distinctive thing about the product we can latch on to for the sake of a writeup. Today, that distinctive thing is "iOnly."

It's got 4-inch woofers, it's got auxiliary input, it doubles as an alarm clock, yada yada yada. You've seen it all before. But who decided to name it the Onkyo iOnly BASS Dock Music System? Is "iOnly Bass" a pun we're not understanding? Most of these tend to have really on-the-nose names like iHear or iPlayMusic or whatever. But iOnly? You only what?

They can't all be winners, folks.

The design of the iOnly BASS incorporates dual 4-inch woofers, a total output power of 40 watts and bass management techniques derived from Onkyo's home cinema products
Wide, dust-proof slide-out dock has a flexible 30-pin connector and allows you to dock your iPod, iPhone or iPad for a direct digital connection
Auxiliary input allows you to connect virtually any other device like a CD player, non-docking MP3 player, cassette deck or turntable
Two reflex woofer ducts in the rear add a layer of resonant bass. Low-frequency sound is further enhanced with the unit's Super Bass booster system
Solid aluminum handle is strong and lends a sleek style to the box
Your iPod/iPhone/iPad is automatically recharged whenever it sits in the dock
